Throwback video: What Rahul Easwar once said about relationships

While Rahul Easwar is mired in #MeToo allegations, an old video of celebrity chat show 'Onnum Onnum Moonu' is doing the rounds on social media. The show hosted by Rimi Tomy saw Easwar and television personality GS Pradeep as the guests.

While the whole episode saw fun and light moment between the three, before winding up the show, Rimi asked Easwar if he had ever thought of extra-marital affairs and whether they had affected his married life.

To this, Easwar said, “I have a stand. In life, between friendships and love there are many shades of relationships. There are spaces in between a friendship and love and people having a conservative mind hesitate to accept such spaces.”

“Such spaces are actually a reality. There are many relationships in life that do not have names. And for me, such relationships should be celebrated,” he added.

Eashwar came into limelight after being part of the reality show 'Malayali House'. Pradeep, who became popular with a reverse quiz programme on TV In 2000, was also part of the show. While Rahul was adjudged as the winner of the show, Pradeep won the 'Youth Icon' award back then.

Talking about that, Pradeep said, “I regret going to the show. I wish I never had taken such a decision in my life.” However, Easwar said that the the show was the best thing that happened to him in 2013. “I knew something was in store for me. It was not about winning the show. but the relations I got from there is something that I still cherish.”
