Filmmaker Alphonse, wife Aleena welcome second child

Congratulations are in order for director Alphonse Puthren and wife Aleena!

The couple welcomed their second bundle of joy, a baby girl.

Alphonse himself had shared the photo of the newborn on his Facebook page thanking his friends and family for their wishes and prayers.

“My wife Aleena Alphonse delivered a baby girl...Thanks to Doctor Nazira and her team of nurses for the care they took in cloud nine hospital. It was a normal delivery by Nature’s grace. Feeling more responsible as a girl’s father. I think every father who has a girl child would have come across this feeling” (sic.)

It was a love-cum-arranged marriage for Alphonse and Aleena, who is the daughter of popular film producer Alwyn Antony. The couple met during their Chennai days and later fell in love. They entered the wedlock in August 2015 in a traditional ceremony held at St. Dominic's Church, Aluva.

Earlier, on October 5, 2016, Alphonse Puthren had announced the birth of first baby, Ethan Aleena Alphonse Puthren.
