Photo journo-turned novelist Hari Sankar dies

Kottayam: Senior press photographer and Malayalam novelist S Hari Sankar, who suffered brain haemorrhage, died at a private hospital here Thursday.

Hari Sankar, 48, was admitted to the hospital after he suffered the haemorrhage following a fall on Monday. He is survived by his wife and a daughter.

Beginning his career in 1989 with Mangalam daily, he worked for various publications of the group.

Later, he shifted his focus towards writing novels for various weeklies.
