Sameeksha 2025: Project competition & poster presentation for school students

Kottayam: Saintgits College of Engineering successfully hosted Sameeksha, a vibrant project competition, exhibition and poster presentation contest for school students, on 24 and 25 February 2025. Students from various schools across Kerala showcased their innovative projects and technical acumen.
Abhijith Binoy from Holy Family HSS, Kottayam, clinched the first prize for his outstanding poster. Devika Dev from Sacred Heart Public School, Kottayam, secured the second position, while Bhagat Binukumar from Georgian Public School and Junior College, Edathua, Alappuzha, took home the third prize.
Jeevan Varughese Thakadiyil, Kristu Jyoti Vidya Niketan, bagged the Best Project Award. A team of four students, namely Johan Oommen Titus, Ayan K R, Alvin N A and Ahan Binu Pattarmadam from Mar Baselios Public School, Kottayam, secured the first runner up position and the second runner up position was secured by Niranjan S, Ruben Antony & Muhammad Sabith from Carmel English Medium School, Thakazhy.
A good number of students attracted the audience with their smart projects and they were awarded consolation prizes. St Antony’s Public School, Anakkal, Kanjirappally won the Best Participation Award for schools with a maximum number of participants.
The competition, with an attractive prize money of ₹31,000 in total, provided a platform for young students to demonstrate their creativity and problem-solving skills. Faculty from Saintgits College served as judges, evaluating projects based on innovation, application, and presentation quality.
Sameeksha 2025 encouraged collaboration and the exchange of ideas among students from various schools. Organisers expressed satisfaction with the high standard of projects presented and the enthusiasm displayed by the participants.
