Cochin Shipyard has announced 44 vacancies for the position of Executive Trainee, with opportunities for postings in Mumbai, Kolkata, and Andaman & Nicobar. The selected candidates will undergo a one-year training followed by a regular appointment. Applications can be submitted online until January 6, 2025.

Departments and eligibility

  • Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Naval Architecture, Civil: Engineering degree in the respective disciplines.
  • IT: Engineering Degree in Computer Science/IT or Post Graduation in Computer Applications/Computer Science/IT.
  • HR: MBA in HR, or Degree with HR Specialization/Diploma, or MSW (Personnel Management/Labour Welfare and Industrial Relations) with specialization in Industrial Relations, or Post-Graduation in Personnel Management.
  • Finance: Must have passed the final examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.

Stipend & salary

During training: Rs. 50,000 per month.

Upon appointment as Assistant Manager: Rs. 40,000 – 1,40,000.
