New Delhi: The UGC-NET June 2024, which was cancelled following complaints regarding leakage of the question paper, will take place again from August 21 to September 4.

The National Testing Agency (NTA), which is conducting the re-test, has published the detailed schedule of the exam, which will be in computer-based mode.

UGC-NET June 2024 re-test: Exam centres
The notification about the exam centre details will be posted on the NTA websites 10 days before the exam (https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in and www.nta.ac.in).

Computer-based test
The NTA decided to conduct the re-test in computer-based mode after the frequent controversies over pen-and-paper exams.

Controversy & cancellation
The UGC-NET June 2024 was conducted on June 18 in pen-and-paper mode. However, it was cancelled the next day after allegations were raised that the question paper was leaked.

Later, the CBI found that the question paper, purportedly of UGC-NET 2024 June, circulating on Telegram channels was a fake.
