Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala General Education Department has decided to restore grace marks for Secondary School Leaving Certificate and Plus-Two examinees participating in national sports events. However, no decision has been taken on the total number of grace marks to be awarded.

Earlier, grace marks were also awarded for participating in the national-level competitions. But when the grace mark system was revised last month, it was limited to 25 marks only for those winning medals at the national level.
