Online applications can be submitted for the post of Constable (Technical & Tradesmen) in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) from March 27 to April 25 (www.crpf.gov.in).

Educational qualification is Class 10 pass. Both men and women can apply. The posting can be anywhere in India.

Trades

Males: Driver, motor mechanic vehicle, cobbler, carpenter, tailor, brass band, pipe band, bugler, gardener, painter, cook, water carrier, washerman, barber, safai karamchari, mason, plumber, electrician.

Females: bugler, cook, water carrier, washerwoman, hairdresser and safai karamchari.

Salary: Pay level 3 (Rs 21,700 – 69,100).

Age

Constable (driver): The applicants should be between 21- 27 years as on August 1, 2023.

For other posts: The applicants should be between 18-23 years as on August 1, 2023.

Relaxations in upper age limit for Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes: 5 years, OBC: 3 years and ex-servicemen: 3 years. Other relaxations as per the rules.

Technical qualification

Proficiency in the trade concerned is required. The candidate should also clear the trade test. Applicants to the CT/mechanic motor vehicle post should have secured the 2-year ITI diploma certificate and 1-year work experience. Applicants to the post of CT/driver post should have a heavy transport vehicle driving licence.

Physical requirements

Male: Height 170cm; Chest measurement 80-85cm; and weight proportionate to height and age.

Female: Height 157cm, and weight proportionate to height and age.

Selection pattern

There will be a computer-based test, physical efficiency test, trade test, physical standards test, document verification, and medical examination. Check the website for more details.

Application fee

The application fee is Rs 100 for candidates in the General and OBC categories. Females, candidates belonging to SC/ST, and ex-servicemen are exempted from paying the fee. The fee can be remitted via net banking/UPI/ credit/ debit cards.
