Thiruvananthapuram: The main examination for the Kerala Administrative Service (KAS) is scheduled to be held at 19 centres across the state. Over 3,000 candidates will appear for the exam on November 20 and 21.

Thiruvananthapuram will have four centres, while Kollam and Kochi will have two centres each. And other districts will have one centre each.

The candidates, who have qualified in the preliminary exam in the streams 1 and 2, will appear for the main exam. The recruitment process for stream 3 is getting delayed as a case has been filed in court. The Deputy Collector (special recruitment) final exam will also be held along with the KAS.

The Public Service Commission said that a majority of those who had sought a copy of the answer sheets or revaluation of the preliminary exams have been given the results. Around 60 applicants are yet to be provided with the results. They will be given the result and copies soon, the authorities said.

KAS preliminary examination was held on February 22, 2020. 

General studies paper 1 includes History (India, Kerala, World) and Cultural Heritage of Kerala. General studies paper 2 includes subjects such as the Constitution, Public Administration, International Relations, Science and Technology and Current Issues and paper 3 consists of Economy and Planning and Geography.
