The Additional Skill Acquisition Programme (ASAP) of the Government of Kerala is introducing online foreign language courses with the cooperation of the respective embassies. Candidates utilising the training programme can tap the numerous employment openings available in foreign countries for online work carried out from home.

Countries like Japan, France, Spain and Gulf nations face acute human resource shortage but people in other nations are unable to utilise this opportunity due to the language barrier. It is in this backdrop that ASAP is launching multi-lingual training centres under its Community Skill Park.

ASAP has tied up with the governments of the respective countries or government-backed agencies for conducting the foreign language courses. Classes in German, Japanese and French will start during the last week of August and registrations can be done on the websites www.asapkerala.gov.in and www.skillparkkerala.in.
