Emirates declines passenger manifest to TVM airport: Why this will be an inconvenience to passengers

Thiruvananthapuram International Airport has denied Emirates Airline company access to its aero bridge, reports Manorama Online. The airport took this action as a retaliatory measure against the airline’s refusal to share the passenger manifest. Meanwhile, the passengers will suffer grave inconvenience if the row between the airport and the airline isn’t solved soon. Emirates operates its wide-bodied Boeing 777 – 300 aircraft daily from Dubai to Thiruvananthapuram and back. However, Thiruvananthapuram airport has denied Emirates access to its aero bridge, allowing passengers to board or disembark planes without going outside.
This has particularly affected the business class and first-class passengers who travel to Dubai or are back in the city. Now, after landing, the passengers board or disembark the aircraft using stairs attached to the plane. They will then be transported to the airport building by bus.
What's in the manifest
Emirates has declined to share the passenger manifest containing their details with Adani Airport Holdings Limited, which runs the Thiruvananthapuram airport. Meanwhile, the Thiruvananthapuram Chamber of Commerce has handed a memo to the airport authorities regarding the retaliatory measure, citing Adani Group is trying to be vengeful against a leading airline company instead of attracting more aircraft to the city. The passengers will be on the receiving end if Emirates decides to cancel this sector.
