Malarikkal and Ambattukadavu in Kottayam district of Kerala are well-known for paddy fields where pink water lilies bloom every year. Both these spots attract a large number of visitors. However, there is yet another less-known place in the state where such a sight can be enjoyed.

A trip to a paddy field at Tirurangadi in Malappuram district also would reward you with the stunning view of the beautiful flower spread over an area of around 100 acres swaying in the gentle breeze.

During the last 15 years, water lilies have been blooming for six months in the area after the rainy season.

The breathtaking sight can be relished by reaching Venjali paddy field in Cherumukku, which connects Tirurangadi Municipality and Nannambra panchayat, between 5 and 9 am.
