Not letting the pandemic mar the festive spirit, Kerala Tourism celebrated Onam virtually this year through an online cultural fest. Among the many artists who stole the show was Indian-Australian percussionist Tao Issaro.
Tao created a visual and musical treat with many traditional and contemporary instruments as he did magic with his drum sticks. The composition was specially done by Tao for the Kerala Tourist #OnamFest and he performs it by the famous backwaters of 'God's own country.'
Tao talks about is musical journey in India in the video and also about his family's artistic lineage. He is the brother dancer and actress Isha Sharvani who has acted in Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi films.
