Neeraj fulfils his 'purple' dream

Neeraj wasn't worried of his physical limitations when he travelled to Munnar. He had a purple dream – to watch the Neelakurinji that has blanketed the post flood-ravaged tourism hub.
Neeraj Baby George, fond of travelling, did not want to miss this season and decided to proceed though the flood that had wrecked the roads to Munnar. "Bucket list – 12 years of waiting, a mesmerising morning at Kottagudi peak, Munnar (7,200 feet)," Neeraj posted on Facebook with photos.
The Aluva youth, son of Major Prof C M Baby and Shaila, had lost one of his legs to cancer at the age of eight when doctors found amputation essential. Neeraj never sat weeping about his limitation, and travelled to places like Ben Nevis mountains in Scotland, the Kurangani in Bodi. He also joined a Munnar-Kodaikanal trekking.
