Kalpetta: After a long interval, the Department of Forest and Wildlife has resumed the Wildlife Safari in the two Eco-Tourism Centres of Muthanga near Sulthan Bathery and Tholppetty near Mananthavadi, said the Wayanad Wildlife Warden. Tourism-related activities of all the eco-tourism centres in Wayanad were suspended by the High Court on February 17 this year, following the killing of P V Paul, 50, an employee of the Eco-Tourism Centre at Kuruva Island near Pulppalli. The state government also filed an affidavit on ensuring restricted tourism activities without harming the environment.

The entry of tourists would be in tune with the restrictions stipulated by HC.
