Hanumankind's latest track, 'Big Dawgs,' which was released recently, has gone viral, with music lovers and influencers praising it as an 'epic' record. Just as the rhythm and lyrics of the track have impressed many, the 'Well of Death,' where the video was shot, has also caught the attention of people around the world. Even Project Pat, the American rapper whom Hanumankind pays tribute to in 'Big Dawgs,' inquired about the stunt depicted in the song during an interview. Now, Kerala Tourism reveals that the song was filmed in Ponnani, Hanumankind's hometown. "The track was shot in a single day in a gravity-defying well of death," states Kerala Tourism's online page.

Well of death in Ponnani
The well of death, a stunt even that was part of Kerala's fairs, festivals and circus performances, was once a mainstay in the state's events. It features stunt drivers, who drive cars, bikes and more in a barrel-shaped wooden cylinder made of wooden planks. It is interestingly derived from the US's motordrome aka motorcycle board track. The makers of the Big Dawgs video recently revealed that they found a well of death, which was about to be dismantled, in Ponnani for the shoot. They convinced the local people to delay it by a few days so them to practice and shoot the video. The gravity-defying stunts were also performed by Hanumankind himself for the video, as we can see at the end of Big Dawgs.

Ponnani's tourist spots
Ponnani is also known for its serene beaches, its historical juma masjid, a lighthouse that provides a beautiful view of the Arabian Sea, the renowned Thirunavaya temple, Kerala's second largest river Bharathapuzha and the Ponnani Fort.
