Hollywood actor Willem Dafoe known for his roles as Green Goblin in 'Spiderman' was spotted in Fort Kochi this week in Kerala. Willem who was in Kochi during his vacation was immediately recognised by the locals while he was exploring the city.
The actor, who is said to have been friendly with the people, posed for photographs which later went viral on the social media. The 64-year-old actor also known for his roles in films like 'Platoon', 'Speed 2: Cruise Control', 'The Florida Project' was in Kochi with his wife and Italian director Giada Colagrande. Earlier, they also visited Mararikulam for an Ayurvedic wellness retreat and then to Alappuzha after covering Jaipur and Delhi.
A Kochi-based tour guide Cresbin Avarachan took the couple around Kochi and posted few pictures on his Facebook page. He posted, “Had a fabulous day with one of the finest actor of HOLLYWOOD Mr WILLIEM DAFOE (speed 2, spider Man, platoon, Mississippi burning,finding Nemo,Beyond Two souls.....etc...)” and the photo was shared widely on Twitter and WhatsApp.
Willem who has received wide acclaim for his films was recently nominated for an Academy Award for his role as Vincent van Gogh in the film 'At Eternity's Gate'.
