Actress Sanusha loves travelling with her family. Her favourite spots are quiet places, preferably in the woods. ''I love being close to nature,'' says the actress, who became a darling of Keralites with her roles in 'Kazhcha' and 'Mambazhakalam.' After playing Kochundapri's sister and Malu as a child artist in these films, Sanusha was seen as a heroine. Filmgoers gave her their whole-hearted support again.

The actress then took a break for her studies. Now planning a comeback, she says her favourite destination is Ladakh. She visited the place for the first time as part of the shooting for a Telugu movie.

'''Amazing' is not the word to describe the place. It is, in reality, much more captivating,'' remarks Sanusha.

For heading to Ladakh, Sanusha travelled from Bengaluru to New Delhi. From there, she took a flight to Ladakh. The aircraft moved through the clouds and she felt like touching them. ''The view of Ladakh from the sky is magical,'' says the young actress.

It was indeed a blessing to set one's foot on such a land, she feels. However, the cold weather was a let down. The young actress's dress for the film shooting comprised of a skirt and top, which could hardly keep away the cold.

Sanusha found the visits to Buddhist shrines in Ladakh a fulfilling experience. Their architecture too is striking, she says. ''Now I wish to visit the place again to enjoy all the sights thoroughly,'' reveals the actress.

Among the trips with her family, Sanusha says Kudajadri and Mookambika are her favourite destinations. The scenery of Kudajadri is incomparable. One will be drawn to the place again and again, according to the young actress. Praying at the shrine of Mookambika Devi is also a soul-filling experience.

Another trip during which Sanusha had fun was the one she took to Coorg. It was a relaxed affair. ''It was a short family trip, but thoroughly satisfying. I slept a lot, ate to my fill and went to see a waterfall nearby,'' she says. The trip also gave Sanusha some time to spend all by herself. She has gone on several other travels, but the most memorable were with her parents.

Kannur, Sanusha's native place, has scenic locations too. ''Though I had visited almost all tourist spots in Kannur, Janakipara was a new experience. I went there for the first time only recently,'' she reveals.

The natural beauty of the place and views are stunning. ''Now it is my favourite destination in Kannur, especially for a trip with friends,'' says Sanusha.

Varkala beach during a rainy season also offers amazing views. ''The sea looks entirely different during the monsoon. It is thrilling to watch the waves rolling up. You can spend hours watching the waves and the sea. But for a moment I was afraid a tsunami may strike,'' remembers Sanusha.

Having visited Dubai several times for personal as well as work purposes, Sanusha is familiar with the tourist spots in the UAE city too. ''In Dubai, my favourite is the desert safari. Another attraction of the place is rain forest, which I visited only during my recent trip. It offered entirely new experiences. Trees and other vegetation have been arranged inside a huge building. There is a waterfall too,'' she explains. Sanusha was thoroughly thrilled.

The actress can go on and on describing her trips and those which she dreams of taking. But now her plan is to return to films after completing her academic engagements by September.
