Hello
Wallace became the first Black driver to win a race in NASCAR's premier series since Wendell Scott in 1963.
Wallace, the only Black driver at NASCAR's top level, was thrust into the spotlight this year when his calls for NASCAR to ban the Confederate flag at all events was ultimately adopted.
NASCAR has said its investigation did not determine who put the noose in Wallace's garage and the FBI found that it was placed there in 2019, before Wallace was assigned to use the stall. Investigators concluded that no federal crime was committed.
