Hello
The two were jettisoned from the 23-man central contracts list released on Thursday along with Test opener Marcus Harris, paceman Michael Neser and the retiring David Warner.
Head is set to miss Australia's early matches after breaking his hand in South Africa but was included in place of left-arm spinner Ashton Agar.
Agar had landed in India as one of the senior spinners in the Australian squad but returned home after not finding a place in the XI for the first two Tests with uncapped off-spinner Todd Murphy and left-armer Matthew Kuhnemann preferred over him.
The left-arm spinner will link up with the squad ahead of the one-day leg next month.
Agar was warned against travelling to Pakistan, though the threat was dismissed following an investigation by the boards of Pakistan and Australia and government security agencies.
The 33-year-old left-hander has not played for the Test side since being dropped after the third Test against England in Leeds last August.
