Kerala drubbed Chandigarh 90-66 to claim bronze in the 68th National School Games basketball championship in Patiala.

Kottayam siblings Jeevan K Joby and Jins K Joby were the star performers for Kerala in the third-place game. Between them, the students of St Ephrem's HSS Mannanam scored 54 of Kerala's 90 points.

Kerala had defeated Tamil Nadu 78-74 in the quarterfinals, before going down to eventual champions Punjab, 50-74, in the semifinals. Kerala boys defeated IBSO (66-36), IPSC (40-19), and Rajasthan (55-26) in the league phase, before knocking out Odisha, 68-43, in the pre-quarterfinals.

Punjab lifted the titles in both boys and girls categories with 70-46, 60-32 wins respectively, both against Rajasthan.
