After a slow start to their Super League Kerala campaign, Forca Kochi have made it two wins in a row. On Tuesday, Captain Said Nidhal scored the solitary goal in the 74th minute as Kochi edged Thrissur Magic in Manjeri.

Kochi have climbed into the second position in the points table with 8 points from five matches, only one behind Kannur Warriors.

Meanwhile, Magic are winless and remain rooted to the points table. The C K Vineeth-led side have managed only two points from two draws in five matches.

After a goalless first half, Mario Lemos introduced club captain Arjun Jayaraj and Kamalpreet Singh to infuse more creativity into the Kochi midfield.

Brazilian Dorielton Gomes found a pocket of space on the left and pulled back for Nidhal, who had arrived at the edge of the box and took a free shot at goal without anyone challenging him.
