Kerala have named a 19-member squad for the Vijay Hazare Trophy without a set of star players, including Sanju Samson and Sachin Baby. Salman Nizar has been named captain for the tournament set to be held in Hyderabad starting December 23.

Vishnu Vinod, one of Kerala's stars at the recent IPL Mega Auction, is also not part of the squad.

Former India international Amay Khurasiya is the head coach of the Kerala team. Jalaj Saxena and Aditya Sarvate are the two guest players in the Kerala squad.
