Kozhikode: MS Solutions CEO Mohammed Shuhaib, the main accused in the question paper leak case, appeared before the Kozhikode Crime Branch on Saturday. The Kerala High Court had ordered him to do so while considering his anticipatory bail plea. Investigating officers are now questioning him.

Justice P V Kunhikrishnan had further directed the investigating officer to record his statement and submit a report to the court by February 25, while also granting him protection from arrest until that date.

Earlier, Principal Sessions Judge V S Bindu Kumari rejected his anticipatory bail plea. The prosecution argued that Shuhaib allegedly conspired with education department employees to leak the question paper. He then approached the High Court.

The Crime Branch had on February 5 detained Fahad and Jishnu, two other teachers from the online tuition platform, at their accommodation in Koduvally.
