Ernakulam/ Wayanad: Navya Haridas, the BJP candidate in the recent Lok Sabha by-elections held in the Wayanad constituency, has filed a petition at the Kerala High Court against the winner, Priyanka Gandhi. Priyanka secured a landslide victory with a margin of over 4 lakh votes, defeating CPI's Sathyan Mokeri, while Haridas finished in a distant third place.

In her petition, Haridas accused Priyanka of concealing critical information about her family’s assets and pending cases while filing the nomination papers, reported LiveLaw. Additionally, the petition alleged that the Congress leader engaged in corrupt practices and exercised undue influence over voters, violating provisions of the Representation of the People Act, 1951. Advocate Hari Kumar G Nair filed the petition.
