Agri officer arrested in fake currency case suspended

Alappuzha: Edathua Agriculture Officer M Jishamol, who was recently arrested in a fake currency case, has been suspended from her job.
She was arrested when a man presented seven fake notes he got from Jishamol to a bank.
The man, who is an acquaintance of Jishamol, handed over seven Rs 500 notes to the bank. However, he did not know that these were fake ones, the police said.
Jishamol resides in a rented house in Kalarikkal at Alappuzha. Active in modelling, she is said to have participated in many fashion shows.
She is also alleged to have tried to create a fake marriage certificate. It is alleged that she was involved in irregularities at her previous office.
