Boy loses parents in road accident, four years after brother's death

Kurichy: Little Amal has lost his parents after the tragic accident here, near Changanacherry in Kottayam district, on Sunday.
Amal, the only son of Saiju (43) and Vibi (39), was informed of their demise only later in the day. Saiju's mother Mariamma who lived with the family was also not informed of the incident immediately.
The husband and wife were returning from a funeral when they met with a fatal accident at Punnamoodu Junction at Thuruthy on the Main Central Road. The accident took place at 2.45 pm when a car coming from the Changanassery side lost control and hit the couple's bike.
Saiju, a teacher by profession returned to Kerala from Nagaland 12 years ago. On his return, he worked at a studio in Changanassery for a while.
Couple had lost two sons earlier
Tragedies have haunted the family one after the other over the years; however, Saiju tried to march on with a positive outlook.
The couple's another son Abel passed away four years ago. Saiju and Vibi had also lost another son Cyril at a young age.
Amal's presence was the only thing that motivated them to keep living tiding over the tragedies in their life.
The couple's untimely death, a few years after his brother's death, has left Amal desolate.
Vezhapra native Saiju is the son of late Kunjachan and Mariamma. Chingavanam native Vibi is the daughter of late Andrews and late Valsamma.
