Thiruvananthapuram: The dates for Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) 2019 have been revised. The SSLC exams will be held at 1.45pm from March 13 to 28. The SSLC model exams are set for February 18 to 27.
The SSLC exams were earlier planned for March 13 to 27. Since Social Science and Maths papers were scheduled for subsequent days, on March 25 and 26, complaints were raised that there was not enough time to prepare for the Maths exam. The new timetable gives a day's gap between the two exams. There are no exams on Fridays.
New timetable:
March 13: Malayalam (first language) paper 1
March 14: Malayalam (first language) paper 2
March 18: Physics
March 19: Chemistry
March 20: English
March 21: Hindi
March 25: Social Science
March 27: Maths
March 28: Biology
The SSLC, Higher Secondary and VHSE exams will not be held together this year. The exams have been scheduled separately.
Annual exams for Classes 8 and 9 will take place from March 6 to 29. Dates for other classes have not been finalised though they are expected during the same dates.
