Seethathodu: As the vehicular movement has been suspended on the Gavi route due to the landslides of August 15, more wild animals could be spotted near the road. And the only persons who have the luxury of devouring the beauty of wildlife are the KSEB officials. Elephants, wild buffaloes and different species of monkeys could be seen loitering near to the road connecting Gavi in the Pattanamthitta district to the outside, they said.

Though traffic has been restored, only small vehicles can pass through the road, and the entry of visitors are restricted.

Forest wardens said that animals could be seen on the road side as the place is silent with no vehicles plying.
