Police are also searching several locations in Bengaluru and Goa, where Sanu’s wife had worked.
Thenmala (Kollam): The police have intensified the search for Rehna, the mother of Kevin’s bride Neenu. Investigators are also in the pursuit of the other accused. Police believe that before surrendering, Chacko and Sanu had left Rehna at some safe place.
Police are also searching several locations in Bengaluru and Goa, where Sanu’s wife had worked.
Investigation was also conducted at the wife’s house of a political activist at Kariyara, Punalur and the house of another political worker.
Local people had last seen Chacko and his wife at their house at Ottakkal, Thenmala, on Sunday evening.
Meanwhile, there are indications that some close relatives of Rehna were getting information about all moves of the police.
Kevin was abducted on Sunday and killed by a 13-member gang allegedly engaged by Neenu's family. His body was found in a river in Kollam district on Monday.
