A popular actress in Malayalam, Parvathy had received a special jury mention at the National Awards for her performance in Take Off. Alappuzha: Malayalam actress Parvathy escaped unhurt after her car collided with another one on the National Highway near Kommady in the district on Tuesday. None sustained injuries in the accident, reports said. Traffic police inspected the spot.
A popular actress in Malayalam, Parvathy had received a special jury mention at the National Awards for her performance in Take Off.
However, the actress and a few other artistes, including actor Fahadh Faasil, had stayed away from the award function after it was announced that only a few would receive the honour from the hands of president Ram Nath Kovind. The boycott by the 60-odd artistes had triggered a controversy.
