Aluva: The Kerala police team probing the actress attack case on Thursday recorded the statement of director Vysakh at the Aluva police club.
Vysakh was the director of Sound Thoma, starring Dileep who is an accused in the case. Vysakh was reportedly called in to be questioned about main accused Pulsar Suni's presence at the sets of the movie. Dileep was arrested on July 10 for hiring goons to abduct the actress and videotape the harassment.
Vysakh is best known for Mohanlal-starrer Pulimurugan, the first movie from Malayalam to enter the Rs 100-crore club.
Dileep moves court again
Meanwhile, Dileep moved the Kerala High Court for bail again as the police were likely to submit a charge sheet with him as second accused.
Investigators moved to ready the charge sheet as they have reportedly obtained scientific evidence of the conspiracy hatched by the accused. Dileep will become the second accused as he allegedly assigned a 'quotation' to Suni to carry out the crime and was part of the conspiracy.
The young actress was waylaid and attacked in a moving car in Kochi on February 17. The police had arrested Suni, six days after the crime. The heinous attack had put Mollywood under the scanner with many of its personalities being quizzed by the police.
