Bengaluru: Six people were killed when a container truck overturned on a car at Nelamangala on Saturday. The truck and SUV were moving side by side when the container truck collided with another truck. Both trucks toppled as a result of the collision.

The incident occurred near Talekere on Bengaluru's outskirts, police said. The vehicle carrying a large cargo container overturned on the car in which the six people were seated, police added. Due to the accident, vehicular traffic on National Highway 48 was severely affected.
