'Big Dawgs' fame Hanumankind recently made his movie debut through the Aashiq Abu directorial 'Rifle Club' in Malayalam. The musician, who often shows off his washboard abs during his power-packed stage shows, apparently used to take 30 push-ups before each of his shots! In a promotional event of the film, National Award winner actress Surabhi Lakshmi, who was his co-star in the movie, revealed that Hanumankind used to request her to count his push-ups. At the time, he revealed that the activity was used to help him deliver better during his performance. He also revealed that he does around 100 push-ups before his stage shows. Interestingly, many musicians and stage performers have revealed in the past that push-ups are a major part of their backstage routine before starting the event. Here is the reason:

1. Routines like push-ups increase blood flow and adrenaline, giving a natural energy boost before stepping on stage.
2. It also helps manage pre-performance nerves by releasing endorphins.
3. A quick workout, like push-ups, can clear the mind and sharpen focus.
4. Push-ups can pump up muscles, giving a more confident, energized appearance.
5. Pre-show rituals, like push-ups, help artists get into the zone and prepare mentally.
