Akhil Thomas’ brand new house in the beautiful countryside of Vannapuram in Idukki district, Kerala stands out for its unique features and stylish designs. The family wanted a beautiful house with all the modern facilities that are in perfect harmony with the serene nature around.

The house is built by maintaining the natural structure of the 20 cents plot that lies in multiple levels. This makes the house look like a single storied one from the outside. However, it has all the facilities of a double storied house. The family has named their eco-friendly abode ‘Tab Villa’.

The usual designs and features are absent in this house that sports interesting and eye-catching patterns. The exposed brick wall is the highlight of the exteriors. The walls are built in a unique wavy pattern.

You could enjoy the amazing views of the surrounding nature from inside the house through the bay windows. As there are lots of windows and ventilations in the house, metal grilles and mesh have been installed for additional security.

The spectacular house, built in 2200 sq ft area, has a sit-out, formal and family living areas, dining space, kitchen with an adjacent work area and four bedrooms. The spaces are designed as multipurpose areas. The interiors, meanwhile, don the elegant charm of minimalism.

Built-in seating arrangement in the quaint sit out adds to the beauty. From here, a small corridor leads to the formal living area that is designed in double height. This makes the interiors look incredibly spacious. A C-shaped couch is arranged on one side of the entrance hall to manage space in an efficient way. A TV unit completes this area.

The dining area and the kitchen are built at a level below this area. Meanwhile, the family living space and the two bedrooms are arranged as a middle level in the double heighted space. The prayer space is separated in the first landing of the stairway. The wall beside the stairway is highlighted in the yellow hue which is extremely blissful to the eyes. The handrails of the stairway are done in metal finish. Moreover, toughened glass panel too has been installed for safety.

The bay windows in the bedrooms open to the scintillating beauty of the nature outside. The bath attached bedrooms have in – built wardrobes for storage as well. The kitchen which is furnished in the minimal style has the cupboards done in plywood finish. Meanwhile, granite is paved on the countertop.

The spaces are designed giving prime importance to excellent supply of natural sun shine and cool breeze. The slit windows in the upper storey and the huge windows on the walls ensure amazing cross ventilation. The sun light that comes in through these windows in the morning and in the evening draws striking pictures of shadows on the walls.

This house truly is an extraordinary instance of a beautiful abode that is eco-friendly and has all the modern facilities. The unique designs are interesting and play a pivotal role in making the interiors space efficient as well. The 'Tab Villa' has now become the talk of the town for its stylish features that blend with the nature around.
