Bengaluru mansion on 2.75 cents; a fine example of smart design

It is no big secret that even a land in the Bengaluru city costs a fortune. Premkumar had always dreamed to build a beautiful house, with all the necessary facilities, in the 2.75 cents land that he owned in the garden city. Though he contacted many architects to help him build his dream abode, no one was ready to take a huge risk. Finally, architect Naveen agreed to design an amazing three storied house here which easily overcome the space constraints. The architect has adopted a very reasonable and practical approach, similar to the designs of a flat, to build this house.

The interiors are designed in multiple layers to utilize spaces in the most meticulous ad comfortable way. The basement floor of this 2575 sq ft house is built by digging the earth. A car parking area has been arranged here. The formal and family living spaces, dining area, kitchen and four bedrooms are designed in various levels of this mesmerizing house. The stairway beautifully connects all these spaces and makes them easily accessible.

The smart arrangement of the interior spaces doesn’t make us feel that this house has been built on such a small plot of land. The excellent cross ventilation makes sure that the atmosphere inside the house is pleasant and comfortable.

The formal living area is built at least 5 feet above the level of the road. The vertical garden and the small fountain are the highlights of this area. Vitrified tiles are paved on the floor.

The four bedrooms are arranged at various levels of the house. The wooden flooring make the bedrooms look amazingly attractive. The bedrooms are bath-attached and have built-in wardrobes for storage.

The dining hall, with a small courtyard, is the most active spot in the house. The skylight here lets in lots of sun shine that illuminates the interior spaces during the day. The walls are highlighted using natural stone claddings. The open kitchen, adjacent to the dining area, too has been smartly designed by catering to the interests of the family members.

The terrace garden adds a hint of greenery to the house. This beautiful house is a fine example of meticulpus planning and intelligent designing.
