The majestic abode owned by Moitheen and his family in the bucolic countryside of Chalissery in Palakkad is perfectly in sync with the beautiful nature outside. The serene beauty of lush greenery surrounds the house, where peacocks make occasional visits. The mansion, in 6000 sq ft area, stands regally on a 30 cents plot. Both the exteriors and the interiors of this house offer an unending array of spectacular sights and features.

The vast front yard has been aesthetically decorated by paving shiny stones and Mexican grass. The pebble court on the left side of the sit-out is filled with round and shiny white pebble. This unique feature truly is a fine example of creative designing. The pergola roof installed right above the pebble court welcomes pleasant sunshine which illuminates the entire area.

The interiors of this house exude a classy charm of minimalism. The main entrance door opens to the tastefully decorated formal living area. The formal and the family living areas and the dining space have been arranged as a single module, making the hall look incredibly vast and spacious. A small partition wall here acts as a designer feature as well. There is a beautiful pebble court on one side of this wall and a sitting space on the other. This space, designed in double height, is the liveliest spot in the house.

The LED spot lights, elegant false ceiling and the exquisite timber works play vital roles in making the interiors look mesmerizing and elegant. Teak wood is mostly used in the interiors which add a classic look to the furniture and other decor.

The stairway built entirely in wood looks regal and sturdy. The steps are made in timber and the handrails feature the classic combination of wood and glass. The wash area is arranged beneath the stairway. The beautiful hanging lights and the strip lights in the stair area make it look pleasant and welcoming.

The bedrooms are designed based on the theme of minimalism. The master and the parents’ bedrooms are on the ground floor, while the remaining two are in the upper storey. Neutral shades of colors don the interiors, giving the spaces an enchantingly beautiful look.

The island kitchen has all the modern facilities. Lots of cupboards and storage units have been arranged in the kitchen. Nano white is paved on the counter top. The shutters here are done in teak – veneer finish. There is a glass opening from the kitchen to the dining area.
