It’s a common belief that beauty care is solely a woman’s domain. However, times have changed. Today, men are equally conscious of their appearance and take good care of their looks. Men who work outdoors, especially those in jobs requiring constant travel on two-wheelers or working under the sun, are more susceptible to skin problems. Here are a few simple ways to address skin issues and achieve a healthy glow.

Washing face
Both men and women should make it a habit to wash their faces twice a day. Use a mild face wash suitable for your skin type. This is an excellent way to eliminate dirt and impurities, removing grime and sweat accumulated throughout the day. Make sure to choose a face wash specifically formulated for your skin type.

Sunscreen is crucial
Men often commute on two-wheelers, making sunscreen an absolute necessity. Apply it generously on your face and hands before stepping out. Remember, sunscreen takes about 20 minutes to become effective, so apply it well in advance. Opt for a sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher. Ensure your face and body are clean before applying sunscreen.

Be careful while shaving
Men need to be careful while shaving. Shaving is a part of their daily routine. But they have to face many problems because of this. This can cause problems ranging from rough skin to discolouration. There are a few things you need to keep in mind for this. First of all, the face should be cleaned well. Also, when choosing a shaving cream, choose only the best. Also, don't forget to use aftershave lotion. To improve the complexion of the face, you can steam your face after shaving. If you have a beard, keep it clean and brushed after washing. Those who do not keep their beard clean are likely to have problems like dandruff.

Stay hydrated
Men tend to neglect their water intake. Inadequate water consumption can lead to dehydration, making the skin dry and dull. Therefore, drinking two to three litres of water daily is vital. Additionally, ensure you get at least seven hours of sleep every night.

Feet and lip care
Soak your feet in clean water for half an hour every night to enhance their appearance. You can add a pinch of salt to the water. Using warm water is even more beneficial. Applying a bit of butter on your lips before bed can help combat dryness.
