Mukta Singh, a woman who decided to become a model at the age of 58, faced harsh criticisms on social media. Ignoring society's narrow-mindedness, this grandmother is now making waves in the modelling world, even surpassing the younger generation. The 61-year-old woman said that there were times when she was hurt reading the mocking comments on Instagram. But she won't let them get to her any more. The determined Mukta Singh, said. Some people might not appreciate stylish dressing, especially among the elderly. This is one of the reasons why Mukta Singh decided to break stereotypes and enter the modelling world at the age of 60. Despite facing various opinions and regressive attitudes, including suggestions that she shouldn't wear stylish clothes or pursue modelling at her age, Mukta remains determined to follow her chosen path.

Mukta got married after completing her Master's degree in English. Her husband, being a fighter pilot, meant she had to travel extensively. She recalls a time when she lost herself in the responsibilities of raising children and managing the household. She would dress her children well, but she would mostly be in an old shirt and jeans. Sometimes, looking at her in the mirror, she would think, 'Oh my! Is this really me?'" Mukta reminisces about her past.

Mukta firmly believes that age should not be a barrier to embracing every stage of life with confidence and happiness. A woman is a caregiver for her family, but that shouldn't mean neglecting herself. Even though physical health and appearance might seem trivial, they play an important role in a woman's sense of self. She emphasizes that we must value ourselves.

Mukta Singh's hair is her most striking feature. She had full of grey hair from her middle age. While she used to dye her hair until recently, she decided to embrace her natural look. Mukta said she decided to let her hair be as it is. Today, her silver hair is one of the reasons for her popularity in fashion shows and advertising campaigns. She had even graced the Lakme Fashion Week with her presence. This stylish grandmother is now aiming for international recognition.
