Goa's win also meant Kerala Blasters were eliminated from the semifinal race.
The win took FC Goa to fourth place in the 10-team league with 27 points from 17 games. They meet Jamshedpur FC in their final league match on Sunday. The winners will seal a place in the last-four. If the match ends in a draw Goa will advance even if Blasters win their final match against Bengaluru FC on Thursday since they have a better head-to-head record. Goa had beaten Blasters in both their fixtures.
Bengaluru, FC Pune City and Chennaiyin FC have booked their spots in the semifinals.
