Kochi: A scuffle broke out between a couple of fans of Sachin Tendulkar and a private security personnel before the start of the Indian Super League match between Kerala Blasters and Chennaiyin FC at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium here Friday night.
The fans had rushed towards the car of Blasters co-owner and cricket legend Tendulkar when the Master Blaster arrived at the VIP entrance. One of the supporters was roughed up by the Thunder Force security men before police intervened. A security staff was taken away by the police.
“A case has been registered against the security personnel Prasanth,” said Palarivattom police station sub-inspector K G Vipin Kumar.
