If you are bored eating the same old idli and dosa for breakfast every morning, here is an interesting recipe of jalar appam which is sweet, rich, and delicious.

This appam or pancake could be easily prepared in just 2 minutes and has the goodness of coconut milk in it. Check out this simple recipe of jalar appam.

Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour/atta
¼ tsp fennel seeds
¾ cup first extract of coconut milk
½ cup second extract of coconut milk
1 egg
½ cup water 
1 tbsp sugar
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp turmeric powder

Preparation
Into a mixer jar, add the all-purpose flour/atta, fennel seeds, first and second extracts of coconut milk, egg, water, sugar, salt, and turmeric powder
Blend well for at least 2 minutes
Pour this batter into a plastic bottle. Pierce a hole in the bottle cap
Heat the tawa
Now pour the jalar appam batter through the hole onto the hot tawa
You could pour the batter in desired shape and size
Cook each side for at least a minute on low flame
Roll the jalar dosa and enjoy while it is still hot.
