Ingredients
1 cup rice powder
4 bananas
1 cup grated coconut
½ cup jaggary
¼ cup water
½ teaspoon cardamom powder
½ teaspoon dried ginger powder
2 tablespoon ghee
1 teaspoon cashew nuts
1 pinch of salt
Preparation
Steam cook the bananas and mash them in a bowl using a fork
Add one cup of rice powder and adequate salt and blend them well
Heat jaggery after pouring water to prepare syrup and sieve the same
Pour some ghee into a frying pan and saute cashew nuts in it at medium flame
Add the grated coconut and the jaggery syrup and cook till the water content has completely evaporated
Now add cardamom powder, and dried ginger powder and stir well Switch off the flames
Take a banana leaf square and place the prepared batter
Put a portion of the banana filling onto it
Add another layer similarly, wrap the banana leaf and steam cook for 10 minutes
