Holy basil is a medicinal herb that can be used as an effective remedy for many diseases. Consuming dishes that have Holy basil is excellent during the monsoon. Holy basil puttu looks incredible in its light green hue and tastes great too. This steamed dish is so aromatic and can be enjoyed even without any side dishes. Check out the recipe. 

Ingredients
2 cups puttu powder
1 cup Holy basil
2 glasses water
1 tsp salt
½ coconut (grated)

Preparation
Take the Holy basil leaves and a tbsp puttu powder in a mixer jar
Crush them nicely
Transfer this into a mixing bowl
Add the rest of the puttu powder into this bowl
Add enough salt and water
Mix as usual
Put some grated coconut in the puttu mould
Add the mixed Holy basil puttu powder
Cook in steam
Tasty and aromatic Holy basil puttu is ready.
