Juicy and plump oranges are in season and this is the perfect time to enjoy some delicious orange soufflé. Here is how you could easily prepare orange soufflé.
Ingredients
2 tsp gelatin
2 tbsp water
2 egg yolks
½ cup sugar
¾ cup orange juice
Juice of a half lemon
2 egg whites
¾ cup cream
Preparation
Soak the gelatin in water
Beat the egg yolks well
Into it add the soaked gelatin, sugar, orange juice and lemon juice
Mix well
Hold this bowl over boiling water and stir until the gelatin melts
After the gelatin melts, insert the bowl in ice cubes
Beat well until the mixture cools down completely
Meanwhile, beat the egg whites until they are nice and frothy
Spread the beaten egg whites over the orange mix
Garnish with dollops of cream, mint leaves and fresh oranges.
