Kanole is a sweet delicacy made from whole wheat and jaggery. Top it with srikhand or kheer, kanole is the best dessert one could try at home during the lockdown.

Ingredients
1 cup wheat flour/atta
1 tbsp ghee
¼ cup semolina/rava
½ cup water
¼ tbsp salt
1 tbsp powdered jaggery

Preparation
Soak the rava in 1/2 cup water for 15 minutes in a bowl
In another bowl, take atta, ghee, salt, jaggery, the soaked rava and make a firm dough by adding a little water if needed
Let the dough rest for 30 minutes
Make balls from this dough and roll each ball into thin rotis with the help of some oil
Place a little bit of ghee on one side of the rolled roti and fold it into quarters
Repeat this process for all the balls
Place all the kanole on a steamer and steam for 10 minutes
Take the cooked kanole out, top with some jaggery and nuts (optional)
Serve them hot with some srikhand or kheer.
