Pachadi is a simple yet delicious dish that can be whipped up using few ingredients. Here is a recipe for a tasty and tangy tomato pachadi that goes well with hot rice.
Ingredients
2 tomatoes
1 onion
2 green chillies
Salt
2 tbsp oil
¼ tsp mustard seeds
2 dried chillies
1 sprig curry leaves
¾ cup grated coconut
¾ cup yoghurt
¼ tsp mustard seeds
Preparation
Grind the grated coconut, yoghurt and mustard seeds
Keep it aside to be used later
Heat oil in a pan and splutter the mustard seeds
Sauté the dried chillies and curry leaves
Add the onions and sauté for 2 minutes
Into it add the tomatoes, green chillies and salt
Cook well
Turn off the flame and allow it to cool down
Finally add in the coconut paste
Give everything a good mix.
