Easy homemade rava gulab jamun

Soft gulab jamuns can be made at home using semolina and milk. Here is a fairly simple recipe for homemade rava gulab jamuns.
Ingredients
1 cup semolina
2 cups milk
3 cardamom pods
1.5 tsp condensed milk/milk powder (optional)
2 tsp ghee
2 cups sugar
Preparation
Roast the semolina until light golden in a pan
Pour the milk and stir until it thickens up
Add 1 tsp ghee and mix well
Add the condensed milk/milk powder after turning off the flame
Allow the semolina to cool down
Make the sugar syrup by boiling 2 cups sugar in 2 cups water
Add cardamom pods as well
Meanwhile, add the rest of the ghee in the semolina mix
Mix into soft dough
Make small balls from it
Fry these balls in hot oil until they turn brown
Drop the jamun balls into the fragrant sugar syrup
Soak the jamun balls in the syrup for at least an hour.
