If you are bored of tasting the same old payasam prepared with the usual ingredients, here is a unique dessert made with macaroni, a kind of Italian pasta. Here is how you could easily prepare the milk macaroni pradhaman.

Ingredients
100 gm macaroni pasta
1 ½ liters milk
200 gm sugar
1 pinch cardamom powder
400 ml ghee
50 gm cashews
20 gm raisins
50 ml condensed milk

Preparation
Cook the macaroni in a liter of water and drain 
Sprinkle some ghee as well so that the macaroni wouldn€™t stick together
Boil the milk in a thick bottom vessel
Add sugar and condensed milk 
Stir continuously until the milk gets thickened up
Now add the cooked pasta and cardamom powder
 Mix well until the payasam has the right consistency
Add cashews and raisins fried in ghee as garnishes.
Note: Any pasta that is available in the market could be used for this recipe. Cooked sago pearls could be added to enhance the taste and texture of the dessert.
