Easy marble cake in pressure cooker

Marble cakes look very appetizing with its perfect vanilla and chocolate swirls. You don't need an oven to make this pretty dessert. Try out this fairly simple recipe of marble cake baked in pressure cooker to make your Christmas extra sweet and special.

Ingredients
1½ cups all-purpose flour
1¼ cups sugar
½ cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla essence
1½ tbsp coco powder
1½ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp baking soda
¾ cup milk

Preparation
Add the baking powder and baking soda into the all-purpose flour
Mix well using a spoon
Now pass this mix through a sieve to combine everything well
Repeat it twice so that there wouldn't be any lumps as well
Grease a cake tin with some oil or butter
Place a butter paper inside the greased cake tin
The paper should cover the sides of the tin as well
Into a mixer jar add the sugar and powder them
Now add the eggs and the vanilla essence
Blend them well in the mixer jar
The cake wouldn't have the obvious smell of eggs, if vanilla essence is added while beating them
Into this add the vegetable oil and blend well
Transfer this into a mixing bowl
Now add the all purpose flour mix gradually and fold it in one direction
Add 3 table spoons milk and fold
Add more milk if the batter is too thick
The batter should be smooth enough to form perfect ribbons when pulled up using a spatula
Transfer half of this batter into another bowl
Add the coco powder into it and fold well
You could loosen the chocolate batter by adding milk
Spread 2 cups salt in a pressure cooker
Pre heat the pressure cooker for at least 3 minutes on high flame (do not put the whistle on the cooker knob)
Place a ring or a stand in the centre
Pour both the batters into the greased cake tin in alternate layers
Use separate spoons for both the batters
The batters should be poured in the centre so that it forms perfect colourful rings
Tap the cake tin to remove the air bubbles
Now draw designs on the batters using a tooth pick 
Place the cake tin into the pressure cooker
Make sure that you place the tin in the centre of the cooker, without touching the sides
Bake on high flame for the first 3 minutes
 Now, lower the flame and bake for another 45-50 minutes. Sometimes, it may take up to 55 minutes
After 50 minutes, turn off the flame and insert a tooth pick to check whether the cake has been cooked well
Allow the marble cake to cool down completely before cutting it into pieces.
